FAQ
What makes Tiny Dancers different?
Most children's shoes start as scaled-down adult sneakers. We start with the child. Every pair is shaped around how children actually move, with a level sole, a foot-shaped front, and flexible construction built for real play.
How does Tiny Dancers sizing compare to other brands?
If you're coming from Vivobarefoot, Bobux or Be Lenka, our sizing will feel familiar. True to size in the developmental category. If you're coming from Nike, Adidas or New Balance, expect to go roughly half a size up from what you're used to. Mainstream brands leave more empty space in the shoe. We don't.
Are these shoes good for growing feet?
Yes. Children's feet aren't finished. They change shape as they grow, and our shoes are built to follow that. Room to spread, grip and push off. Nothing in the way.
How do I choose the right size?
Measure your child's foot length from heel to longest toe, then check our size guide. A fresh pair gives about 15mm of room at the front, roughly a thumb's width. When that space shrinks to 10mm, it's time to size up. If your child falls between two sizes, size up.
Are your shoes suitable for wider feet?
Yes. Our foot-shaped front gives every child room where it matters. Wider feet fit naturally, and narrower feet aren't forced into a shape that restricts movement.
What are the shoes made of?
Breathable mesh uppers. Reinforced panels for structure. Lightweight EVA midsoles. Rubber outsoles for grip. All materials comply with EU REACH regulations.
How durable are they?
Built for running, climbing, wobbling, falling and starting over. Reinforced where children put shoes under the most stress, flexible everywhere else.
How do I clean them?
Wipe with a damp cloth. Air dry. Use mild soap on the outsoles if needed. Skip the washing machine. It damages the materials and changes how the shoe fits.
Where do you ship?
Sweden, Denmark, Norway, and across the EU. Shipping times and costs appear at checkout.
What's your return policy?
14 days, in line with EU consumer law. Items must be unused and in original packaging. Full details are in our Return and Refund Policy.
What if my order arrives wrong or damaged?
Contact us at hello@tinydancers.com with your order number and a photo. We'll repair, replace or refund in line with EU consumer protection rules.
Can I exchange for a different size?
Yes, if the size is in stock. If not, we'll refund the original order and you can place a new one.
Where are the shoes made?
Designed in Stockholm. Made by manufacturing partners we've chosen for quality, safety and consistency.
Are they machine washable?
No. Machine washing damages the materials and affects the fit. Surface cleaning only.
Do the shoes contain harmful chemicals?
No. All materials comply with EU REACH regulations for children's footwear.
How long will a pair last before my child grows out of them?
It depends on age. Between 1 and 3, feet grow about 1.5mm a month, so a pair typically lasts 3 to 4 months. From 3 to 6, growth slows to around 1mm a month and a pair lasts 5 to 6 months. From 6 onward, most children get 6 to 8 months out of a pair.
